If so look no further, have a Sand Art Party! It is something a little bit different that still some children haven’t seen or tried. It makes very little mess, and the activity calms children rather than over-excites them. They love it and just want to do it again and again!

We can run a Party for a minimum of 10 children. Parties are best suited to children celebrating their 5th – 10th birthdays but younger and older children are usually happy to join in. Children are offered very wide choice of picture designs to choose from. The Sand Art element of your party will last about an hour. This means that children will at least complete one A4 picture, and some may complete a second smaller picture if they work more quickly. Unlike other providers we do not charge extra for children doing two pictures if they complete their first one with enough time to spare.

Deciding a venue

We can set up at home or in a hired hall – the choice is yours. We can run the party indoors or outdoors (weather permitting). We have a very wide range of equipment and can bring our large Sand Art tables with bowls. Two tables give children 20 colours of glorious sand to explore! We can also bring our popular smaller tables with trays and sand in bottles. These are great for younger children or those who might find it a bit hectic standing at the sand tables with other children. Few other Sand Art providers offer so many options.

Space

Don’t worry if space is a bit limited, you don’t have go to the expense of hiring a hall, we can adapt! When you make an enquiry we will discuss with you the space available and let you know how many children could be accommodated in that space. You will need a separate space for tea, so that the sand art can be cleared away whilst the children eat, but we’ve done many successful birthday parties where they have simply had a picnic on the floor in the kitchen/diner, conservatory or garden! If space is really tight we can bring just trays and bottles, which means children don’t move around the tables and require less space.

How a Sand Art Party runs

The party kicks off with children being shown how to make their Sand Art pictures. After about an hour they finish off, they eat tea whilst we clear away. Then its over to you to finish the party with some dancing or traditional party games. We set out their named pictures and sweetie cones, all ready for them to take home. All of the finished pictures are sealed in a cellophane bag, which means there is no risk of sand dropping off in the car! Some people like to have an additional entertainment as well, for example, bouncy castle or face-painting. We are happy to do this this, but have found that parties work just as well with Sand Art as the sole entertainment, with just a few games at the end.

Whats included

You provide the venue, the food and the cake.

We provide the invitations, one hour of sand art entertainment, and a sweetie cone for each child. You can choose to provide additional party goodie bags, or we can (costed on request), but given that the children will have a party cone and their finished picture to take home, there really isn’t any need. You will find that by giving them some wrapped cake to take home as well – they leave with their hands very full!
